Please join Narrowing the Front Door for a discussion on child welfare abolition. Alan Dettlaff and Maya Pendleton will discuss their new book, "Confronting the Racist Legacy of the American Child Welfare System: The Case for Abolition."

Join a conversation on what abolition means, why its proponents say it is necessary, and an alternate vision for a society that supports children and families. The group will also discuss efforts to reform the child welfare system and what support for children and families currently looks like.
